Pass with confidence.
Evidence-based strategies, clear plans, and smart practice that fit your life.
This plan assumes you have completed your course and have about an hour a day, with a longer session at the weekend. If you have less time, keep the structure and shrink the numbers โ the order of the weeks matters more than the volume.
Week 1 โ Find out where you stand
- Day 1: a mixed baseline across every domain for your level (the free Fast Check takes five minutes for fifteen EMT questions).
- Days 2โ7: 30โ40 mixed questions a day. Read every rationale. Keep a running list of the domain behind each miss.
Weeks 2โ3 โ Drill the weak domains
- Split each day: roughly two thirds of your questions in your two weakest domains, one third mixed.
- After each session, read the cheat sheet or study note for the topic behind your misses โ only those.
- AEMT and Paramedic: add one unfolding patient case a day for Clinical Judgment.
Week 4 โ Rehearse the exam
- Two full-length, timed practice exams, on separate days. Review them fully the following day.
- Between them, return to mixed sets and your remaining weak spots.
- Final two days: light review, early nights. Nothing new.
If you work shifts
Use short blocks. Fifteen questions and their rationales take about twenty minutes and fit into a break. Consistency beats volume: twenty minutes on most days does more than one long session a week.
CinnaEMS builds this schedule for you: pick your exam date and rest day, and it lays out a daily list that reshuffles if a day gets away from you.
